Or is it more of a taste/interest thing (specifically with the very different bulk on the 500s)?I'd consider myself a fairly casual follower of fashion blogs, but I've seen so much coverage of chunky sneakers over the past year that I'd be surprised to hear that the lower prices are simply due to demand. Even the more recent 350 V2s are just under $400 which leads me to guess that it is strongly influenced by pairs produced (and I know that, at least anecdotally, V2 quantities have more than tripled since the Black Friday releases). I’ve tried searching info on quantities of 500s to get a better understanding of the forces at work, but haven’t been able to find much.Even if local raffles remain difficult to win, have we reached the point where a sub-$50 markup means most YEEZY drops will remain easy to come by (at least immediately following the release)?Side note: does anyone else get a good chuckle at how quaint the OG turtle doves look in retrospect compared to everything V2 and beyond? via /r/streetwear https://ift.tt/2JYvHsp
