Can leather weekend bags be part of ""streetwear""? Can business casual, in general?

As a short-term lurker on this sub and a long-term absolute casual in fashion, I'm interested not only in what constitutes ""streetwear"", but also if it can in any way be combined with business-casual attire and accessories.Right now, I'm specifically interested in leather bags. I come from a background of people who take themselves way too seriously (with all due respect to my loving parents), including school and everyday outfits, so I'll admit that I don't know too much about what is fashionable in the streetwear world. So, my question to all of you is, are leather bags considered part of streetwear? And if so, how can I rock one in a way that looks both casual and respectable? I've noticed that some people seem to think that leather bags are only for ""preppy"" or ""business"" looks, but I'm curious to know if there are ways to style them in a more streetwear-appropriate way. When it comes to brands, I know that there are some well-known leather bags companies such as Filson, KENZO, Von Baer, and Coach. Yet, I'm always on the lookout for new brands that are good quality and fashionable, while not being way overpriced.I'm also asking this specifically after seeing a Von Baer leather weekend bag, on https://ift.tt/oXmsIAO. I love the sleek design and the high quality of the leather, as well as the way it looks flexible (for laptops, notepads, chargers, etc.) and not too flashy. It's a bag that can be dressed up or down, so I'm looking for something similar, that can be ""street"" and business-casual at the same time (if it's possible, lol). So, what do you guys think? Are leather bags part of streetwear? If so, what are some ways that you like to style them? Can you do business casual at all, or should I just stick to ""my world""? Thanks for any comments, including mocking ones! " via /r/streetwear https://ift.tt/oLaST5t
