Palace Skateboards is a lazy brand
Ok don't get me wrong, I definitely fuck with triangles but honestly their recent drops have been seriously lazy. Most of the things they give out are overpriced jackets and caps and it's silly that they get so much attention for these things. $160 for a black pullover with a tiny little tri-ferg on it? What the fuck Palace? Not only this but even when you get excited for a drop they are usually the same tri ferg over and over again with barely any changes in most except for a few somewhat unique designs like the tri cycle from earlier this year and the deconstructed P3. Everything else takes no effort from them. Maybe I'm more of a supreme guy or something but it's difficult giving palace any credit for their product when it's all the same thing again and again for ridiculous prices.I don't know though maybe I'm overreacting but I'd like to hear what /r/streetwear thinks of palace and their works, having a lot of their products not go ds for the prices and appeal. via /r/streetwear http://ift.tt/1RKAllZ

Metal t-shirts for trap heads. What you guys think?
I conceptualized a brand called Trapcore in 2010, before Trap music was integrated into EDM, and before Beibz was rocking metal tee's. 6 years later and I finally completed my first round of designs. I contacted metal illustrators from around the world, including the designer behind Megadeth's new album art, to flip their style using Trap music themes. The result is Trapcore, an experiment blending styles and genres. I didn't expect Trap or Metal to go mainstream when I came up with the concept, but it seems now is the perfect time to release. How often do you go thrift shopping?
I go to op shops occasionally and I just about never come across anything appealing. Honestly I'm not sure it's because I'm looking in the wrong places or whether it's because all the heat is being snatched up before I even get to lay my eyes on it. People who have come across some dope finds, are you just persistent with consistently visiting op shops/thrift shops, or have you just been lucky?Also maybe it's a location based thing. It's weird, I waited so long to get here. To get to this point just to walk away from it.I've changed so much since I started this whole Jeremy thing. To the point I don't really know who I am anymore.I don't know if anything will change my mind at this point but I hope this subreddit for the best.I'll be resigning and deleting my account for good soon. Just going to walk away from Reddit.I've found something that makes me happy, happier than being here. So happy in fact I often forget this place exists.Although I do love all of you for the massive amount of support you've given me, I just can't keep up with it all.I would definitely like to publicly thank the senior moderators here for giving me a shot to make the sub a little better. How did you become interested in street wear?
I don't remember exactly how I started, but I believe it was because of the Yeezy 350 boosts (which I'm sure was how a lot of people in the last year did too). Just in the last six months, I've seen a lot a huge influx of users in other subreddits like /r/palaceclothing, which is a bummer because that also increased the number of bot users...I'm interested in hearing how older members became interested in all of these brands and this fashion style. :) via /r/streetwear http://ift.tt/1TR4VjF
