A year ago today. How /r/streetwear transformed my life.

Last April: http://ift.tt/2oN78RK April: http://ift.tt/2q9jAPv Gains (Ft. Foreign exchange student rockin Burberry): http://ift.tt/2oNkygu know these posts are kind of annoying, but I feel like I just owe a huge thanks to this subreddit as a whole. I got fit a bit ago but I was looking at my camera roll from a year ago and found these pics and it just really struck me. Not only was I physically different: my life had had so many major improvements since I started caring about the way I present myself.Since I started browsing this sub a few years ago I fell in love with the aesthetic many posters provide here. I loved the seeming effortless looks people were able to pull off. I wished and wished I could just transform into one of you stick people but knew it required some work. I started dieting and running throughout my summer vacation and before I knew it I had lost ~45 pounds. I really returned to school as a new person. As I wasn't the most social person back then a lot of my friends were surprised to see what I had become. I felt so good about myself. I began making more and more friends and started talking to girls for the first time in my life. I began to find my place socially and that is what has been most life changing about this: the confidence. Now I am very happy with the friends I have grown much closer with now that I get off my ass and leave the house, the many new friends I've made, and my girlfriend who i fell for back in October.I don't think I have the most established style yet and so far I am keeping it simple. It's hard to really pull off a lot of fits on here in high school where I get flamed for cuffing my pants or showing my ankles. However here are a few of my fits (in [semi] chronological order): http://ift.tt/2q9fRBB feel like I'm getting there....Tldr: thx guys ily via /r/streetwear http://ift.tt/2oNtvGn
