[UPDATE] Prosper Sub Rosa Shirts

What’s up guys/girls here is that updated thread I promised going into more detail on these shirts. The feedback and support I got was stupendous and really brought this whole experience to another level. Everyone here is extremely friendly and offers great constructive criticism, so thank you! Words cannot describe how overwhelmed I was with all the responses.With that said let’s get into this. A couple weeks ago I decided I wanted to do something streetwear related and after dozens of designs and iterations I finally came up with this gem. Below is a little description about the design that talks about the meanings behind it.Front:Our brand name “Prosper” sits on the left of chest printed via screen printingUnder the brand name reads “Sub Rosa” which is Latin for "under the rose", and is used in English to denote secrecy or confidentialityBack:The Rose painting, an original work by my father with inspiration from Salvador Dali. I chose this painting as a red rose in the western culture is often gifted to people who you have great respect for, and those who have shown great courage. Red roses are also gifted to those you want to show love and passion to.The quote by Anne Bronte’s poem from 1899 under the painting – “He that dares not grasp the thorns should never crave the rose” – symbolizes that you shouldn't desire something if you aren’t prepared to suffer for it, and if you are not willing to suffer then you do not deserve what you’re desiringCollection One 2016 printed above quote to indicate which release the shirt is from :)I got a lot of requests to do the shirt in white as well as pastel & desserty colors.. Think light rose, sand, etc. Unfortunately I will only be printing on a black shirt for this design, this will allow me to get the shirts out as soon as possible and into your hands. I sincerely apologize to those that would’ve liked white & pastel/desserty colors.
