Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2017 /r/streetwear census.I've summarised the results below - with some of the questions it can be hard to get an accurate reading of what were the common responses, as there may have been 2,000 different responsesTotal responses: 2,104Personal DemographicsGender94% Male5% FemaleThis is as expected - streetwear is typically geared towards, and adopted by, males. We have a very low number of older age users, so probably don't expect the most thorough and mature responses all the time. Remember who you're working with. This also shows that typically when a user says they like the way the subreddit used to be they don't have a clue what they're talking about as there is less than 11% of the sub thats been around longer than me (that answered the survey). This really shows through in a lot of the rule change requests we recieve - for example with WDYWT threads, most users haven't been around for the 3 different systems we've employed, and don't have much to compare it to. Very few users believe to know very little, or a lot. Tying back into the income question, and age question, most users will not have the disposable funds to be buying expensive clothing regularly and may go for more basic pieces as a result.
