So I started regularly following /r/streetwear and wanting to imrpove my outfits something like 11 months ago, which is crazy to me seen as though so much has changed in my life since then. Regardless, when I got into streetwear I started off as a lot of us did, wearing cringey ass shit and not knowing how to color coordinate, etc etc... Obviously I am not going to declare myself the God of streetwear but I feel as if I have improved since then and I see the direction in which my tastes are heading and I don't know how I feel about it.Let me explain. Quite recently I have started to look more toward the high fashion end of streetwear and have become extremely obsessed with earth tones and boxy things. As I see and like boxy fits more and more I, obviously, start getting ready to make some purchases to set my wardrobe up to be something that I want to wear. Now this is where it gets tricky. I have seen a lot of posts about confidence and people having the ability to wear certain things and other people not. I am an extremely confident person (people mistake it for arrogance sometimes) and I don't really care about how other people percieve what I wear. However, I do know that some things are just not appealing on certain people, and this is where I hit my wall. In the title I mentioned gynecomastia, a condition I've struggled with for a while, for those of you who don't know it's basically just man boobs even if you're not fat. Drapey tees and very tight muscle tees look absolutely terrible on me because of that and it's really disheartening because things that look nice to me, such as the FoG inside out tee, I know I can't wear, at least for now. I've also been told by my friend that earth tones, or certain variations of it, look weird on me because of my skin color (I'm like a deep caramel? I'm hispanic so take that as you will)/rantSo I guess my questions for you guys is what would you do in my situation? Because I want to wear what I want to wear obviously but I don't know for a fact if I can. I'll give you the yeezy season 1 camo tee for example. I am dying to buy that tee and wear it buy I don't know now if I should because I've been told it might just look weird on me. Also, my boobs aren't really that noticeable in terms of the yeezy tee so that's not the problem but just wearing earth tones in general. I don't know what I'm saying anymore, I'm just conflicted. via /r/streetwear http://ift.tt/2a9lo2d
