[DISCUSSION] post gets hot, really not worth the harassment. Rule 3 was broken countless times and nothing was done. Please be careful when starting in this sub.

I really hope mods don’t delete the post and actually read what I have to say.I made a choice to post a photo of myself online. I was happy to take criticism, feedback and opinions, I love that shit. I actually give a fuck about this sub, I’m changing my style and I want advice. But fucking hell, I got a lot of shit from my post.I had comments that weren’t even related to the sub, creepy and harsh men in my direct messages telling me “I need to be more feminine, it’s disgusting”, “you’re only getting the attention because you’re a slut”. I even had one individual find my Instagram and spam me with messages whilst I was sleeping, asking for my number.I don’t mind that people questioned whether my outfit is streetwear or not, I’d love to hear why it isn’t and actually learn what I could do better next time. That’s what I came here for. I did not come here to receive loads of fucking abuse about me as an individual and have assholes message me all night and tell me I’m not feminine enough for them, or that I’m a slut for posting a photo of my outfit online.I wasn’t bothered at first, but just scrolling through this sub and you can see a lot of people just being dicks for no reason. It’s mainly to the girls, but a lot of shit to men too. People who are clearly just asking for advice and opinions, and people just getting into streetwear. Why not be kind and just teach them? Instead of saying “this isn’t fucking streetwear and it’s getting hot cus you have tits/it’s 15 year olds thinking this is style”.I’m clearly not the only one who wants to learn more about streetwear and alter their style, get feedback from people who know about this. I was bashed on my sexuality, physical appearance with things I can’t even change, and for trying to make a dark situation for myself a little bit lighter. I don’t mind the fucked up comments, but there’s a rule that says this is not allowed. When I want to be bashed, I’ll go and get roasted on a sub intended for that. Rule 3 was broken continuously and nothing was done. Why are we allowing individuals to get bashed on things they cannot change about themselves, on a sub dedicated to fashion? I know it’s not everyone, I got a lot of great responses and feedback on my post, but the harassment has just made me wanna take that shit down. Bash this post all you want as well, but those thinking of getting into streetwear and seeking actual advice, I’d suggest not posting at all. Just Google it and check for other forums.
