[DISCUSSION] A new sub might be the solution!

I truly believe that a new sub might be the solution for r/streetwear's current "problem".This sub is quite big and if it keeps being like this I think the possibility that someone will create a new sub will become bigger and bigger. This often happens to subreddits where the users don't agree with the mods/community anymore. Personally I and probably a lot of other users would really enjoy a new sub with less strict rules. However I can't really imagine that the mods of the new sub would be able to manage their subreddit very well or gain any attention since they probably don't have too much experience.Because of that I think r/streetwear should do it themselves before anyone else does! r/streetwear could create a second sub that cooparates with this sub. A sub without a whitelist where the rules are less strict. The low effort fits, shitposts and mirror pictures could be posted onto there. This subreddit could then post the best fits with the most upvotes on here. That would give non-whitelisted users a chance to get on top of this sub. But this wouldn't solely benefit the users. r/streetwear could also benefit from this since they will have less low effort fits, shitposts, often asked questions and less of a mess in general. They could even find new users who would fit onto the whitelist through the new sub and I think the variety of the fits on this sub would increase too.I'm not exactly sure how this could be perfectly done but I think that the mods would know what to do. Maybe only post the best fits of the 2nd sub if they reach a minimum amount of upvotes. Maybe these fits would only be posted on a certain day except if they reach an even higher amount of upvotes or are 'manually' selected by the mods because of high quality.I'm aware that this would be kind of a mess at the beginning but I also truly think that a change in this direction could really benefit r/streetwear. via /r/streetwear http://bit.ly/2QFWolj
