I’ve been looking around for a pair of boots for this upcoming winter (doesn’t need to be tough, it doesn’t snow here), and the yeezy crepe boots seem to be a good fit for my style (and are fairly affordable on resale at the moment). While searching for a pair, I noticed there that there are two separate releases for it: a season 2 pair and a season 4 pair, and the szn 2 seemed a lil bulkier than the szn 4... so I thought this was a great opportunity to explore the differences between bulkier and slimmer boots! The bulkiness of the season 2 boot kinda makes it feel like a statement piece of its own. It would probably help bring balance to lower half of the body when wearing an oversized sweater, or when layered with some heavy outerwear (both of which were characteristic of szn 2 pieces!)The season 4 version on the other hand looks a lil more tapered towards the top, giving it a sleeker silhoutte and making it maybe a lil subtler when incorporated into a fit. This would probably work better in fits that better conform to the body, or are at least a lil slimmer (it would be wrong for me to say that szn 4 was slim... pieces were still oversized, but they definitely felt more... vertical? lol I’ll attach links to lookbooks below).Szn 2 vs szn 4And lol I’m still tryna figure out if there’s a real difference between these boots or if it’s just my eyes playing tricks on me 😅 if there’s no distinguishable difference, hopefully we can at least get some meaningful discussion out of thisBoot comparisonAnyways, when it comes down to your fits (whether they’re for winter or summer) do you prefer bulkier profiles or slimmer silhouettes for your boots? And do you have a preference for either yeezy boot? via /r/streetwear https://ift.tt/2My9wL4
