I got scammed in a trade, is this too petty to get my item?

Some scrappy spit-fuck of a kid trade scammed me through depop, then said he'd get "homies to run my block" when I called him out on it. From what I can tell he's 15-16 years old. I have all of his information, found his Facebook easily, and then found his parents Facebook. Would it be petty as fuck to contact his parents about it? I couldn't give less of a fuck that he threatened me, but i'm out of about a $600 jacket right now & i'm pissed.edit: i'm doing it, i'll post an update/screencaps if things get lolsy via /r/streetwear http://ift.tt/2dAkC1y
