Hey everyone. Welcome to user collection showcases. This is to highlight individuals who have fairly large collections of their grail items. We want to not only give you a peek inside of their closet but some insight on their style philosophy. Let's go over a few rules because we aren't just looking for anything. The rules are as follows:1: Compile a picture album of your top 5-10 items of 5 different categories. Good photography in well lit areas are a must. Be creative. You can show the item in a fit but required is a picture of the item solo. We are less focused on how the items look in a fit and more on the collection itself. You need a total of 25 items minimum and a maximum of up to 50. We are looking for people with either big nice collections or compact but very high end. Categories are as follows.Trousers / Denim / ShortsShirts / Crewnecks / HoodiesAccessories / Hats / BagsShoes / Sneakers / BootsOuterwear2: Type up a short story that gives us an explanation of your style philosophy. You can keep it focused on the items themselves or try and give us a look on how these pieces fit into your everyday wardrobe. You could tell us where you would wear what you own and how you came to acquire most of it. Try and keep it fairly short. Around 3 to 4 short paragraphs should do.3: Send me a (u/goodkareem) and u/fatasiantoby a link to your album and the write up on your fits and I will work with the mods to figure out which ones we want to present. If they are approved we will try and keep it pretty sequential. We will sticky your submission for the week depending on the reception and what is going on with the sub. If you want to plug your social media profiles then feel free.Unless you have a wardrobe of mainly unique thrifted items or have a lot of diy clothes we are not really looking for things you can get at lower price points. We do want fairly uncommon collections. Things we are specifically looking for.Homemade or DIY collection itemsDesigner items from past seasons that are no longer obtainable.High end expensive items.Special collaborations between two different designers that had a limited run.Vintage itemsAvant guarde designers that are normally not seen on streetwear but still fit into the streetwear aesthetic. via /r/streetwear http://ift.tt/1qS317v
