Anyone else suddenly get into fashion and then get a bunch of shit from their friends?

So basically at the beginning of 2015 I got into looking good. I received a very nice watch and ordered a bunch of nice bombers, hoodies, shirts, jeans, pants shoes etc and started a small collection of basic streetwear pieces. My new wardrobe assembled quite abruptly, and I was basically the only one in my school who would be cuaght dead in a military surplus coat and a pair of distressed jeans with zippers. I took a lot of digs, especially from my friends. They've gotten used to it, but this basic streetwear esque style seemed to foreign and hilarious to them.
