[DISCUSSION] I'm looking for a roommate to find a cool pad in LA with, I've checked other places but it's riddled with creeps. Is anyone down? Also, LA Streetstyle Zine startup!

Title says a lot, but basically I'm looking for a roommate in LA to move in with around May-ish? I've checked craigslist, roomster, the LA subreddit, and it's either scams or creeps. I would ask my friends but none of them need roommates as of now.I've never posted here, but I thought it wouldn't hurt.I'm 18, I've got 2 jobs and am a student, moved to Cali last year to write and make short films lol. I'm not really good at advertising myself. There're some cool one bedrooms in Ktown that are around 1,200$, so split in half would be 600 each.
